Welcome, I’m Paige!

I am a part-time blogger & content creator from SE Minnesota. As a Midwest based outdoor enthusiast I enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, fishing, gardening, & really– anything that allows me to spend time outside with my husband, daughter, & our two labrador retrievers.

I grew up in Central Wisconsin & moved to Winona, Minnesota for college where I met my husband, Aaron. After college we decided to stay in SE Minnesota where we work full-time. Aaron as an accountant & Paige in marketing for an Alaska travel company. Although we love traveling throughout the Midwest, we love all that SE Minnesota has to offer from the beautiful bluffs of the driftless region to a short 30 minutes from the Mississippi River but only an hour & a half for the MSP airport.

In 2019 I created my blog for my own use. It was to keep track of our adventures in case we wanted to return some day, like a journal, but I found passion in creating & writing so I have been expanding on my blog since. Over the years Aaron has started to help with Paige Outdoors by joining me on roadtrips to get content & he has also received his FAA drone pilot license for us to get some incredible video & photos. It’s been fun working together & turning Paige Outdoors into something we both love doing.

While focusing on exploring the Midwest & shedding light on how great the region really is – it has allowed me to experience new things, explore new destinations, & most importantly – share them with you! Thank you for being here & trusting me to be your Midwest guide.

Share the Midwest with those who live here & want to explore more of our underrated region & with those who are planning a visit to our area

Spend as much time outside as possible no matter what the season is – find joy in it from new experiences and activities

Cross off items from our Midwest bucket list that we’d like to do & see in our life time
