The #1 closest (and best) waterfall near Eagle River, WI is about 35 miles from Eagle River. Although that is about a 40-45 minute drive – it is an incredible waterfall with great trails, beautiful scenery, and several access points for viewing.

Planning on visiting Bond Falls in winter? Watch your step and consider wearing micro spikes. Due to the hydroelectric dam behind it – this waterfall does not freeze over as most waterfalls in the Midwest do in winter months. This powerful waterfall coats the steps and walkways with ice from the mist coming of the waterfall as it rushing down the rocks. Be cautious, it gets slick in some areas!
