2. Bahia Honda State Park – Big Pine Key
Another fun thing to do in the Keys is to stop & explore their parks. Learn about the historic railroad bridge & enjoy breathtaking views of the ocean. Bahia Honda State Park is great for swimming, snorkeling, bicycling or even renting a kayak from the concession/dive shop.
Camping is also available at Bahia Honda State Park. The Bahia Honda campground offers 3 camping area with a total of 80 campsites & 3 furnished duplex cabins.
Entry Fee: $8.00 per vehicle, $2.00 per pedestrian/bicyclists.

3. Roam Duval Street & Check out the shops – Key West
Duval Street is one of the biggest reasons people enjoy Key West, whether it’s the shops, all the different restaurants or simply, the atmosphere. It’s fun just to roam the streets & check out all there is to see, & maybe even grab a few souvenirs along the way!
4. Eat a meal with a view at The Conch Republic – Key West
The Conch Republic is one of the best places in Key West because of it’s location & view. It is centrally located by the docks, the hustle and bustle of downtown Key West, & has an island vibe.
You could sit there all day as the ocean breeze blew through the open dining area. They have garage doors that come down the sides of the building in case it does get cold or rain but otherwise it is wide open with a covered roof. Go for dinner & enjoy a meal as the sun goes down!

5. Eat a slice of Key Lime Pie at Kermit’s – Key West
Key Lime Pie in Key West is a MUST when it comes to things to do in the Keys! So why not try the best Key Lime Pie out there? Not to mention, it’s covered in chocolate & on a stick! Kermits Key Lime Pie Shoppe can’t be missed while you are roaming the streets of downtown Key West. It’s a bright green & yellow shoppe on the corner of Duval Street.
6. Visit the Southernmost Point – Key West
The Southernmost Point is one of most popular tourist attractions. It’s the Southernmost Point of the continental U.S. & you can find it by looking for the large colorful buoy! Considering it’s such a popular tourist attraction, there’s a good chance there will be a line of people waiting to get their picture taken with the bouy. 7. Keys Fisheries – Marathon Key
Keys Fisheries is located along the water in Marathon Key & I would have to say it’s hands down some of the best seafood in the Keys! So good, that we ate there twice. They have a wide vartiety of fresh fish & seafood, along with a unique seating area, bar, & friendly staff. 8. Mallory Square – Key West
Mallory Square is known for it’s sunset views which they call the Sunset Celebration with live music, stunt performers, comedy shows & local vendors along with some small shops. Find out what time the sunset is with their real-time sunset tracker: Todays Sunset
9. Ice Cream at Mattheessen’s – Key West
Try Key Lime Ice Cream at Mattheessen’s where they serve a variety of homemade ice cream, cookies, & fudge. It’s such a cute shop downtown & you can smell the fresh baked goodies just from walking by! As I will always suggest– make sure you get it in a waffle cone!
10. Dry Tortugas National Park
1 of 3 Florida National Parks – Dry Tortugas National Park is made up of a cluster of 7 islands with coral reefs & sand. Considering it is located 70 miles off of the nearest city– you will need to take the Ferry or a seaplane to get there. Once you arrive you can take a tour of Fort Jefferson, snorkel, bird watch, swim or soak up some sun. It’s certainly one of the most unique National Parks & easily one of the best things to do in the Keys!
